NED vs SL, T20 World Cup Live Updates: After a terrific start to their chase of 163, Netherlands faced a blow after Maheesh Theekshana dismissed Vikramjit Singh at 7. Netherlands’ score read at 27/1 after 4.0 overs. Blistering knock of 79 runs by Kusal Mendis guided Sri Lanka to a total of 162/6 against Netherlands in their final first-round match of the T20 World Cup in Geelong on Thursday. Charith Asalanka also played a knock of 31 runs to give a strong stand to Sri Lanka. Opted to bat first, Sri Lanka faced early blows as Paul van Meekeren dismissed in-form Pathum Nissanka and Dhananjaya de Silva off consecutive deliveries in the 7th over.
