T20 World Cup 2022, England vs Sri Lanka Live Updates: Chasing a target of 142, England are cruising with Alex Hales and Jos Buttler on the charge. Earlier, Pathum Nissanka hit a gutsy half-century but Mark Wood bagged three wickets as England restricted Sri Lanka to 141/8 in a must-win game at the Sydney Cricke Ground. Nissanka hit 67 off 45 balls from the top of the order as other batters struggled to get going. Wood returned figures of three for 26, while Adil Rahsid, Chris Woakes, Ben Stokes and Sam Curran bagged a wicket each. Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka had won the toss and elected to bat.
