The Colorado Rockies reinstated C.J. Cron from the 10-day injured list Monday, after the first baseman has missed more than a month with back issues.

Cron, 33, was sent to the IL on May 15 with back spasms.

The Rockies optioned infielder/outfielder Michael Toglia and right-hander Noah Davis to Triple-A Albuquerque after Sunday’s game to make room for Cron.

Cron was batting .228 with six home runs and 20 RBIs in 36 games. Over 10 seasons with five clubs, Cron is a career .259 hitter with 181 home runs and 587 RBIs in 1,014 games.

Cron was an All-Star for Colorado last season when he batted .257 with 29 home runs and a career-high 102 RBIs.

Toglia is batting .174 in 10 games with the Rockies. Davis is 0-2 with a 10.61 ERA in five games (four starts) this season.
