After being put into bat, India lost the wickets of Arshin Kulkarni and Musheer Khan in 7.2 overs, with the score reading 31/2. However, opener Adarsh Singh and captain Uday Saharan smashed half-centuries to take India across the 100-run mark. The pair added 116 runs for the third wicket before Adarsh was dismissed on 76.
