Milwaukee Bucks wing Khris Middleton said he expects to return for Sunday afternoon’s game against the Phoenix Suns after missing more than a month because of a left ankle sprain.
Middleton confirmed the plan to reporters after Bucks practice Saturday.
The former All-Star has been out since suffering the sprain in a Feb. 6 game against the Suns. He has missed 24 games this season.
The Bucks head into Sunday’s game in a battle with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Middleton, 32, has been productive in his minutes this season, averaging nearly 15 points and 5 assists in 26.3 minutes while shooting 48.7% from the field.
