Brandon Ingram will miss at least the next two weeks after hyperextending his left knee in the New Orleans Pelicans‘ Thursday night loss to the Orlando Magic.
In a statement, the Pelicans said Ingram will be reevaluated in two weeks after an MRI showed a bone contusion.
Ingram, 26, left Thursday’s game in the third quarter with the injury and had to be helped off the court by teammates.
The forward is averaging 20.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.8 assists for a New Orleans team that enters Friday fifth in the Western Conference standings.
