MS Dhoni was back to his best for Chennai Super Kings once again. This time facing his wrath was Lucknow Super Giants at their home-ground on Friday. After Chennai Super Kings were six down, MS Dhoni came at the crease in the 18th over. And it did not take him long to show his old magic. In the IPL 2024, MS Dhoni has played the role of cameo to perfection. Against LSG, he achieved his first six on the second ball of the 19th over bowled by left-arm pacer Mohsin Khan.
He walked across the stumps and scooped the ball. Such kind of shot is very rare from MS Dhoni. It was a short of a length delivery and Dhoni hit it over LSG wicketkeeper KL Rahul‘s head to perfection. Dhoni stayed unbeaten on 28 off nine balls with a strike-rate of 311.11, he hit three fours and two sixes.
