UFC Abu Dhabi results: Nurmagomedov beats Sandhagen, ready for title shot

MMA

Umar Nurmagomedov continued his winning ways as he defeated Cory Sandhagen by unanimous decision on Saturday night.

Nurmagomedov (18-0) is now on a six-fight winning streak in the UFC, and with the win over ESPN’s No. 3 ranked bantamweight in Sandhagen (17-5), “Young Eagle” will likely be next to challenge for the 135-pound title. Sean O’Malley will defend his bantamweight belt against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 306 in September.

Here’s everything that went down on the 13-fight card in Abu Dhabi, including results, top news, highlights and big moments on Saturday.
