England’s Malins misses out on France clash

England have dropped Max Malins for their final Six Nations match against France in Paris on Saturday.

Malins has been ever-present through the Championship on the wing for Eddie Jones’ side, but has missed out on a spot in the 28-man squad. With Malins omitted, Elliot Daly looks primed for a spot on the wing while Luke Northmore, Louis Lynagh and George Furbank have also all travelled to France.

England head to Paris looking to end France’s Grand Slam dream and have shuffled their pack accordingly. With flanker Tom Curry out injured, Jack Willis was added to the squad, but the 25-year-old has missed out on the final cut. Instead, Sam Underhill looks set to feature in the back-row on Saturday to make his first appearance in this year’s competition.

Hooker Jamie Blamire has also been left out of the squad, meaning Leicester’s Nic Dolly looks set to be named on the bench.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Ireland, who are the only team who can stop France from winning the title, face Scotland in Dublin, while Alun Wyn Jones is set to make his 150th international appearance when Wales take on Italy in Cardiff.
