Emma Raducanu won her round-of-16 match against Daria Snigur in the 2024 Nottingham Open in straight sets, securing a place in the competition’s quarterfinals.

The 21-year-old Brit wrapped up the game in a little over an hour with a comfortable second set in which she won four consecutive games on the way to a 6-2, 6-2 victory.

The final game of the second set was the closest of the match with Raducanu getting a match point advantage three times.

The Nottingham Open marks a return to grass for Raducanu after missing that portion of the season last year due to ankle and wrist surgery.
