Billy Harris falls to United Cup defeat vs. Poland

Billy Harris fell to a straight-set defeat against Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz in the United Cup on Thursday.

Hurkacz took the match 7-6 (3), 7-5 to put Poland 1-0 up against Great Britain in the quarterfinals.

British No. 1 Katie Boulter will face world No. 2 Iga Swiatek in the second singles match of the clash before the mixed doubles match sees Hurkacz join Swiatek to face Boulter and partner Charles Broom.

The winner of the quarterfinal clash will face Kazakhstan in the semifinal.
