De’Aaron Fox flies in for put back dunk

NBA

With the Sacramento Kings taking on the Golden State Warriors in the NBA play-in tournament Tuesday, De’Aaron Fox chose a right time to show off his hops.

Early in the first quarter, after Harrison Barnes‘ layup bounced off the rim, Fox skied toward the basket for a putback slam past Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. The dunk put the Kings up three with just over eight minutes remaining. Fox had eight points in the opening 12 minutes.

The winner between the Kings and Warriors will face the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. The winner of that matchup will be the No. 8 seed and play the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.

Fox and Sacramento split the regular season series 2-2 with Golden State.
